Steering
The Dometic Optimus EPS system includes a digital CANtrak display, PCM control unit, and one or two hydraulic pumps, offering single or dual cylinder installations. The system supports up to four motors with the Twin-pack, and parallel connections enable easy integration of additional engines. It provides detailed system information, including calibration and adjustments, and is NMEA 2000 compatible for autopilot integration, without requiring extra pumps. The integrated rudder angle display and adjustable steering effort ensure a smoother and more precise boating experience.

This intuitive, retrofittable joystick allows you to move not only forward and back, but also sideways. The robust Power Assist steering system lets you navigate these vessels with the same comfort and ease you'd expect when driving a car. Recommended for any boat 200 hp and above, this system comprises two circuits: a hand-operated manual system serving as the control element, and a hydraulic power pump acting as the working element. The manual system features a helm pump with internal relief and check valves, along with a built-in reservoir. The power system is an electronically controlled hydraulic pump that boosts the fluid from the helm pump to the steering cylinder, significantly reducing the effort required at the wheel.
